You already know the time you want. We tell you exactly where it's hiding in a plan built for your race, your goal, and your stroke.
My daughter dropped 8 seconds in her 200 breast the first time she used it. She updated her plan before finals and dropped another 6 seconds. We're still kind of in shock.
I've been chasing my 50 free cut for a year. The checklist helped me find the 0.4 seconds I needed.
Pick the event, your current time, and the time you want. Add splits and stroke rate if you have them. Works in SCY, SCM, and LCM.
Swimmers get a race-specific plan based on individual times and goals. Every plan has a punch list that highlights where to save time.
Log new times as you swim them. The plan adapts. Watch the gap close on a chart that shows real progress, not vibes.
No fluff, no jargon. Written so swimmers know exactly what they need to do.
Three tenths a length. That's the whole gap, and it's smaller than it feels.
Your 50 back is already fast. The speed is there โ that's the hard part. So this whole 1:03.8 thing isn't about swimming harder. It's about not slowing down. The race is basically: be fast, then refuse to die.
Your walls are your secret weapon. Every push-off, you get to dolphin kick underwater โ and underwater is faster than swimming on top. So every wall is free speed.
The third 25 is where you win. You just got a free push off the wall, so that's your attack length, not your survival length.
Generic advice ("swim faster, train harder") doesn't drop tenths. Specific advice does.
Every plan is built around three things: your race (stroke + distance + course), the current gap between your time and goal, and your context (other times you've logged, your start and turn ratings, your stroke strengths).
You get a focused plan with a punch list that tells you where the seconds actually live. You know the specific target you need to hit to meet your goals.
Update your plan as your times change. The advice changes with you.
Most swim apps live in the practice pool. You get workouts, sets, and drill libraries. MySwimCuts lives at the meet. It's built around one question: how do I drop time at my next race?
Already use a training app? Great. MySwimCuts is what you open for the meet.
When your plan says "the third 25 is where you win," that's not a guess. It's drawn from 200+ age-group, high school, and college coaches checked against 100K+ actual race times. You get advice you can trust on the blocks, in the voice of the coach you wish you had.
Convert swim times between Short Course Yards (SCY), Short Course Meters (SCM), and Long Course Meters (LCM) instantly. No account required. The same coach-grade conversion math we use inside the app โ accounting for pool length, number of turns, and stroke โ not a flat percentage guess.
Less than a new pair of goggles. Your first race plan is free. Once you subscribe, you get five plans per race each month.
For swimmers under 13, a parent must create the account. When adding any child under 13, we charge $0.50 once to your card as verifiable parental consent required by federal law (COPPA). This applies once per parent account โ not per child. If you then subscribe, that $0.50 is credited toward your first month.
MySwimCuts is a paid subscription, not an ad-supported app. Your kid's data isn't a product.
Race times stay yours. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Ever. We work with a small number of service providers (hosting, payments, email) who help us run the platform, each under a confidentiality agreement.
Coach accounts are free. You don't need a subscription โ your swimmers do.
Sign up as a coach and get a unique coach code. Share it with your swimmers. When they link their account to yours, they appear on your roster automatically.
Your roster shows each linked swimmer's current times, goal times, the gap to close, and every plan they've generated.
The Relay Builder is free for coach accounts. Pick your relay and it finds the fastest lineup from your linked swimmers who have times logged. All standard relays supported.
No subscription required. Create your account and share your code.
Swimmers train for months, then walk to the blocks without a plan for the actual race. Hitting a goal takes more than "train harder." We generate a real plan for this race, this gap, and this swimmer. That gap between preparation and performance is where MySwimCuts lives.
The coaching knowledge to close that gap already exists. We conducted 200+ coach interviews and analyzed 100K+ race times to map exactly where time gets lost. By event, by distance, and by level. Then we built a system to put that knowledge in every swimmer's hands, personalized to their race and their goal, updated as their times change.
It's not generic AI. It's structured coaching knowledge, pointed at a specific problem.
Three minutes from now you can have a coach-built plan and a punch list of where the time is hiding. Or you can swim the same time at the next meet. Your call.
Get your first race plan freeWhen you create an account, your first race plan is free. Pick your event, enter your current time and goal, and get a full coach-built plan โ pacing, turns, mental cues, and a race-day checklist โ at no charge. When you're ready to set goals for more races, subscribe at $4.99/month (Individual) or $9.99/month (Family, up to 4 swimmers). Cancel anytime.
The Individual plan ($4.99/month) covers one swimmer. The Family plan ($9.99/month) covers up to 4 swimmers on one parent account and includes the weekly Family Brief โ a Sunday summary of each swimmer's focus, recent times, and race-day priorities. If you have two or more swimmers, the Family plan is the better deal.
The Family Brief is a weekly Sunday email included with the Family plan. It summarizes each swimmer's current goals, their most recent times, and what their race plan says to focus on at the next meet โ one digest for the whole family, so you walk into Saturday's meet knowing exactly what each kid is working on.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time from your account settings. You'll be switched to the Family plan and can add up to 3 more swimmers right away.
A card is required to subscribe. If you're adding a child under 13, we charge a one-time $0.50 as verifiable parental consent under federal law (COPPA). This applies once per parent account โ not once per child. That $0.50 is then credited toward your first month if you subscribe. Your first race plan is free, and you're only charged the subscription fee when you confirm your monthly plan.

MySwimCuts is built on insights from 200+ age-group, high school, and college coaches, combined with 100K+ race times. Every plan is generated for your specific race, age, current time, and goal. It's not generic content; it's a plan written for you.
A plan won't swim the race for you. What it does is end the guessing โ it tells you, specifically, where the seconds are hiding and gives you a few concrete things to work on between now and your next meet. Swimmers who follow their punch list and update the plan after each meet watch the gap close on the chart. The first plan is free so you can see whether it works for your swimmer before you pay anything.
Each plan gives you a coach-style race strategy โ pacing guidance, technical cues, mental prep โ plus a printable race-day checklist. Plans are personalized based on your event, current time, goal time, and swimmer profile (age, favorite stroke, turn and start ratings).
MySwimCuts is available for all standard race distances in all standard course lengths โ SCY, SCM, and LCM. Every plan is tailored to the course you're racing, since pool architecture (number of turns, length of each lap) actually changes the strategy. We also do the conversion math, so a SCY 100 back PR informs your LCM 100 back plan too.
Yes. On any race card, tap the Convert button to see your time translated across Short Course Yards (SCY), Short Course Meters (SCM), and Long Course Meters (LCM). You can set the converted time as your working view and generate or update your plan based on that new perspective.
Any competitive swimmer 10 and up gets value from MySwimCuts. For swimmers under 13, a parent must create the account and grant COPPA-required consent. Swimmers 13+ can create their own account, with optional coach and parent links.
Swimmers 13 and older can create their own account. For swimmers under 13, a parent must create a parent account and add the swimmer โ this also satisfies the COPPA parental consent requirement. Coaches can create a free coach account and link swimmers using a unique code.
Yes. The Family plan ($9.99/month) supports up to 4 swimmers on one parent account. If you're on the Individual plan and want to add more, you can upgrade to Family anytime from your account settings.
Federal law (COPPA) requires us to verify your identity as a parent before we collect personal information from a child under 13. The $0.50 charge is that verification โ it confirms the card belongs to a real adult. It appears on your statement as "COPPA Parental Consent โ MySwimCuts" and applies once per parent account, regardless of how many children under 13 you add. If you then subscribe to MySwimCuts, that $0.50 is credited toward your first month.
Yes โ optionally. You can link a coach to your account with a code, and they get a read-only view of your races, goals, and plans. They can't change anything. You can unlink any time.
No. Coaches can create an account and share their coach code with swimmers for free. Swimmers (or their parents) subscribe to unlock AI-generated plans โ the coach account itself has no cost.
The Relay Builder is a free tool for coach accounts. It analyzes the times of all linked swimmers and finds the optimal lineup for any relay event โ freestyle or medley. For freestyle relays it ranks swimmers by speed and suggests a leg order. For medley relays it tests every possible swimmer-to-leg combination and picks the assignment with the fastest projected total time. Mixed medley relays (2 male + 2 female) are also supported.
Only swimmers linked to a coach account with times logged for the relevant event and course are considered. A swimmer with no 100 Backstroke time in SCY, for example, won't appear as a candidate for that medley leg. Coaches can also request AI coaching notes that explain the lineup and flag alternate swaps.
